ONE MAN TRIBE PERCUSSION SAMPLES
After 20 years of traveling through West Africa, researching and playing with legendary drummers and musicians, I developed a unique approach to Senegalese drumming. My vision was always to take this timeless rhythmic knowledge and philosophy to the next level, which led me to create a massive, one-of-a-kind drum set. With this setup, I perform and record using hybrid drumming techniques that took years to refine and master.Through studying ancient traditional music and rhythm concepts, I discovered the power of layering.
This approach allowed me to create percussion parts that feel both sophisticated and organic, reshaping my entire creative process. Layering remains at the heart of my music-making - an essential element in both traditional and modern contexts.
